Bestar and Bush Furniture Industries have a new corporate name: eSolutions furniture group. The company said the new name reflects its plans “to propel the sale of residential and commercial furniture on the international market through cutting-edge e-commerce solutions.”
The rechristening comes just over a year after Bestar purchased Bush. Both companies specialize in the manufacture of ready-to-assemble furniture.
“The merging of the strengths and expertise of each company gives us the opportunity to take the entire organization even further,” said Mike Evans, president and CEO of eSolutions furniture group. "We now have a unique opportunity to become a leader in North America and transform the industry by providing an unparalleled online experience, from purchase to delivery, then from assembly to use of products."
The group's head office is located in Sherbrooke, within the current Bestar offices. The company operates furniture production sites in Sherbrooke and Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, as well as in New York, Pennsylvania, and Asia. eSolution furniture group’s product line includes Kathy Ireland branded residential and office furniture; seating, home entertainment furniture, and storage solutions. The products are sold online on the brands' websites and major e-commerce sites. They are also available in large office supply stores and commercial contract markets.
eSolutions furniture group is owned by Novacap, a Canadian private equity company.
