OFGO, a family owned commercial furnishings manufacturer, announced this month that the company has re-launched their business operation under the moniker, OFGO STUDIO. Customers who know the OFGO brand will recognize a large portion of the OFGO STUDIO offering of desking, tables, benching, chairs and contemporary upholstered lounge furniture but can expect numerous new product offerings coupled with all new design language and graphic styling.
Nicole Shamir, Executive Director, heads the company with her brother Cory, Director of Technology, at the newly branded OFGO STUDIO. “We are bringing a new vision and mindset to the company,” said Shamir. “We have invested in parametric manufacturing technology, state of the art production automation, and are working with a lot of innovative new materials to create a whole new product experience.”
When asked what customers can expect to gain by the company's overhaul, Shamir stated “the greatest gain for our customers will be the way that our culture, and the changes that we've made, are coming through in our product and our processes.”
Shamir went on to say that the products offered by OFGO STUDIO are geared toward what is needed to outfit “today's agile commercial environments”. With a new generation taking the helm of OFGO STUDIO in key leadership roles, the company's approach is a little different. “We have been gearing up for this over the last few years,” said Shamir, “and we have been changing every fundamental process that we use. The re-launch has touched every part of our business; from the way that we design our products to the way that we interact with our customers, our software, our machinery and our people.”
With the launch of the company's new website on October 1st, OFGO STUDIO introduced eight whole new series of furniture products. “It's important to us that each of our product families are cohesive and work well together,” said Shamir. “The new products that we have introduced this month are harmonious with each other and they are also designed to integrate with the best of what we brought over from the OFGO brand.”
Among the new products are a line of conference and occasional tables, two new styles of configurable reception desks, anti-microbial surface finishes featuring textured embossing, a new modular lounge series with options for upholstered privacy panels and power modules with USB charging, a line of training tables, height adjustable desks and a flexible new parson's table line with complimenting upholstered benches.
“We are proud of the new direction we are taking with OFGO STUDIO,” commented Shamir. “We have connected the dots with what we wanted OFGO STUDIO to be - and this is just the beginning of what is to come.”
