Playing with textures and patterns to create dynamic flooring

Workspace experts, Dale Office Interiors, build bespoke, high-performance spaces that enhance business performance, so when it came to refurbishing their own office they knew exactly what to do. They turned to Tarkett to supply the flooring as part of a new design scheme, which would create a refreshing update to their space - to be used as both an office and a showroom for clients.

DESSO Traverse carpet tiles add a splash of colour to the open plan office space

For the flooring, the design experts at Dale Office Interiors wanted to move away from the plain, dark carpet which had previously been installed, and instead bring a real pop of colour and texture to the space. With this in mind, they opted for DESSO Traverse and Edges carpet tiles in vibrant bursts of blue, yellow and green, featuring distinctive diagonal ridges and a patterned design to create zoning and define walkways.

Desso&Ex Concrete carpet tiles evoke a neutral and calming mood for the Dale Office Interiors meeting room

In the boardroom, the design team wanted to create an elegant and calming ambiance, so they opted for Desso&Ex Concrete - a tactile carpet tile, designed for minimalistic interiors. This provided a contrast with the DESSO Jeans carpet tiles selected for the Design Lounge, a space to bring clients to view samples of fabrics and wallpaper.

DESSO Jeans help create spaces where people feel comfortable to collaborate, focus and relax.

Kirsty Atkin-Stephenson, Interior Designer at Dale Office Interiors, said, “It was a great experience collaborating with Tarkett and we are all thrilled with the final result.

DESSO Jeans set the scene for a more informal look

“I particularly love Jeans in the Design Lounge. In fashion, denim goes with everything, which makes this carpet tile a perfect backdrop for the variety of products we show in the space.”
