Configura, maker of CET Designer software, announces a partnership with brands SitOnIt Seating and IDEON to create CET Designer Extensions.
Known for industry-leading products, customer service and an enterprise-level supply chain, SitOnIt Seating and IDEON are considered premium custom-seating brands in the commercial seating industry.
“As brands that value affiliations to elevate the customer experience, it was only natural that SitOnIt Seating and IDEON found their way to Configura for CET Designer Extensions,” says Tim Kiger, vice president of sales at SitOnIt Seating and IDEON.
Used by thousands of people globally, CET Designer helps manufacturers and their dealers by providing a single software solution for space planning and product ordering. The solution is used in a number of industries that manufacture configurable products; industries include office furniture, kitchen and bath, material handling, industrial machinery and laboratory/healthcare.
CET Designer is Configura's "core" Parametric Graphical Configuration (PGC)-based software platform; an Extension is an addition to the program with functionality that incorporates all of the rules, parts and pricing of a given manufacturer's products.

The highly visual software enables 2D and 3D design, photorealistic renderings, fly-thru videos, virtual reality experiences, instant bill of materials and installation documents. The technology built into CET Designer and its Extensions creates an incredibly detailed, enriching visualization experience.
Configura sees great potential in the collaboration.

SitOnIt Seating plans to release its CET Designer Extension in April 2018, with IDEON to follow in May.
