(http://www.empireoffice.com), a leading provider of contract furniture solutions, announces an agreement with Florida Business Interiors, Inc., to purchase certain assets of its flooring and construction services division. J. David O’Bryan will join Empire Office to run the new division and work with regional leadership to obtain new business opportunities. “We are very excited to add this professional group of talented people to our team and continue to grow the service offerings already in our portfolio,” Peter Gaslow stated.

This is Empire’s fourth acquisition in the state of Florida in the last six years. The first was the 2009 acquisition of Thomas W. Ruff South Florida. Earlier this year, Empire acquired the South Florida dealer Office Elements, expanding into Palm Beach County.

Under the terms of the agreement, Florida Business Interiors will complete all of its current outstanding purchase orders and Empire Office will service clients for all new business.
