OFM Opens Three New Distribution Centers in Strategic Locations Nationwide

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — OFM announced today it has contracted with a national third-party logistics provider (3PL) to house additional inventory in three new strategic locations nationwide. This expansion means OFM will now distribute its products from five locations around the country as part of a new business development effort to support its continued growth over the next 20 years.

“When you need more office and school furniture, you need it now,” said Blake Zalcberg, chief executive officer of OFM. “Our new distribution centers are located in strategic locations around the country enhancing the customer experience and providing the dealer with an even stronger value proposition when choosing a vendor to work with.”

The three new distribution centers are located in Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Washington State, OFM chose these locations so that all of its dealers receive their shipments in less time and with less damages as a result of reducing the number of steps with on-loading/off-loading. The new distribution points are in addition to OFM’s existing locations in North Carolina and Arizona, making for a total of five centers around the country.

OFM designs, manufacturers, and distributes office and school furniture to many major retailers including Wayfair, Office Depot and Staples. In 1995, founders Abel and Barbara Zalcberg started the company out of their home in Cary, N.C. Though it’s grown to a staff of 45 full-time employees with operations around the world, it still has that family touch and prides itself on great customer service, fast shipping, and quality furniture at an affordable price. It also continues to innovate and develop stylish new models with high-tech features bringing consumers cutting-edge design and functionality.

“Twenty years ago OFM started as a small family-owned business in North Carolina,” added Zalcberg. “These new distribution centers show just how far we’ve come and how we’re working hard to meet the growing demand for our furniture while also continuing to provide our clients with high-quality furniture at competitive prices.”
